Junk & Disorderly is a family owned business, operated by Richard & Nicole Stewart.
Junk & Disorderly was opened in a small shop in Northcote Point in 1991. Their stock varies immensely from week to week and normally consists not only a huge selection of vintage wares but also new gift & homeware.

J&D: Where old meets new.

J&D: From peoples happiness!
SH+O: What was your biggest challenge when starting your business and how did you overcome it?

J&D: Cashflow ! Years of hard work and finding the right bank manager.

SH+O: What was your best business moment?

J&D: How can you pin point one but Metro "Best of Auckland" Awards are pretty special – but I always feel good when people tell us what a great time they have had at our shop whether they bought anything or not!

SH+O: Where do you see the future of retail heading?

J&D: I think it is imperative to have a strong online presence including social media & also e-commerce, all of which support your bricks & mortar.
