Capital of Cool

We were fortunate to have spent a few days in Wellington last week on a sales-focused trip.
As an Auckland based business it's always great to get out of town to see what other cities are doing in retail and design and Wellington never disappoints.

We started at Let Liv, and no trip to Wellington should be considered complete with visiting Natalie and her gorgeous, Scandinavian inspired store.
We kept it interior focused and moved on to Wellington staples Small Acorns, Iko Iko, Magnolia Trading Co and finished at the inspiring Precinct 35 where we dined on delicious food at Milk Crate and soaked up the unique space that is filled with local and international brands.
Unity Books provided some food for thought and for the soul with books we've been meaning to read all laid out, and ready to be devoured. A must-visit for sure (with an even more convenient Auckland location!)

Keeping it Wellington-focused, we was fortunate to have attended a styling workshop by the gorgeous Unna of the Wellington based blog The Forest Cantina. Unna's blog has only been around for a year and a half and in that time she has managed to secure a book deal, a magazine role and Kinfolk host - not to mention being a mum of two! Impressive stuff. if you aren't familiar with The Forest Cantina, definitely check out her blog and her cookbook hit the shelves this week and is definitely worth a look.
